Hi everyone!!
Well, it's day 2 of the Christmas in July sale....and it's been busy...not a lot of Christmas paper left here...so if you are in need of some Christmas paper at a great deal, you better get down here!
And don't forget to stop down tomorrow for the Make & Takes! There might not be much paper left, but you have to come down and learn how to make these great little ideas for gift giving this year!
Thank you Colleen Ball for these great ideas! |
The one on the left is a Teabag Caddy. It holds tea bags perfectly, and as you notice, it also fits some yummy Ghirardelli Chocolate. This caddy is double sided, so you can put something in each side! A gift card will fit in one side, and a quick tag or note could go on the other side...lots and lots of options!
The one on the right is a little gift bag. Cute, but not terribly exciting until you find out the top comes off and you don't have to untie it to get to the goodies in it!!
The top just slides off and gives you extra space for taller items if you need it!
Both are so very easy to make, you will be able to whip out tons of them in no time at all.
Oh, and you don't have to use them just for Christmas....they would make great gifts any time of the year...check this out
The Tea Caddy is made from a 6"x6" piece of paper...get 4 out of one regular sized scrapbook sheet of paper, or use those great 6x6 paper pads that have the smaller patterns on them...perfect!
For those of you in the Gamsol Blending class a couple weeks ago....do you recognize that frilly lace on the bag on the right?? That is the "leftovers" from when we die cut the lace...I finally found a use for them!
Tuesday's Layout Class is now
a PLAY DATE!!
Well, one of the biggest lessons I have learned in life, is that sometimes things just don't go as planned.
This class is one of them. Some of the things we needed for class were back ordered, so we have to postpone.
So, instead of class on Tuesday night, we are going to have a PLAY DATE.
Bring whatever you want to work on....scrabook pages, cards, whatever. If you have taken some of the classes and still have pages to finish...bring them down, I should have the originals here for you to reference.
NO COST...COME AS YOU ARE...COME PLAY!!
Tuesday, July 24th from 6-10 PM
Seating is limited, so please make sure you give me a call (721-7529) or email (scrapandplay@rushmore.com)
Hope to see you soon!! Have a wonderful weekend and STAY COOL!!
